The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously, treat it confidentially and in accordance with the legal data protection regulations and this declaration. Below we inform you in detail about how your data is handled.

This data protection declaration applies to data processing by the European Autoclaved Aerated Concrete Association EAACA.

We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. communication by e-mail) can have security gaps. A complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

Already during the use of our website, data is being collected which is only used for the purposes of operation, security, internal statistics and the optimisation of our Internet offer. Some of the contents of the website can only be accessed if you log in beforehand with your user name and password, as assigned by EAACA. The sole purpose of this is to restrict the access to certain internal content, and information within the association, to the circle of members and member companies.

The use of our website is generally possible without having to prove personal data. The personal data raised on our side is always voluntarily provided, for example name, address or e-mail addresses. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent.

Data collection and use for contract processing: We collect personal data if you provide it to us voluntarily as part of a contact enquiry. Which data is collected can be seen from the respective input forms. We use the data you provide to process your enquiries. After completing the processing of an enquiry or the contract, your data will be blocked from further use and deleted after the expiry of the required the storage periods, as prescribed under tax and commercial law, unless you expressly consent to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use it beyond this period for specific data applications permitted by law. The deletion of your data is possible at any time and can take place via a message to the designated contact in the imprint.

Passing data on to third parties: If you have provided us with personal data, we will use it only to answer your enquiries, process the contracts concluded with you and for technical administration. Your personal data will only be transferred to third parties in individual cases, if it is indispensable for the purpose of processing the contract.

Cookies

Parts of our website use so-called cookies. Our cookies do not cause any damage to your computer nor contain any viruses. They are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. Our cookies help make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure.

CMS

We use a Content Management System (CMS) for our website. The personal data you enter on the website in our contact form will only be stored temporarily in the CMS for forwarding to us by e-mail.

For the use of our intranet – exclusively for members of our association – we collect the following information:

  • First name, last name
  • a valid e-mail address
  • information necessary to the respective service contract, if applicable

This data is collected:

  • to identify you as our member
  • to give you access to the password-protected area of our website

The data will be processed at your request and is required for the purposes mentioned in Art. 6 Para. 1 S 1 lit. b DSGVO for appropriate processing.

The personal data we collect will be stored until and subsequently deleted by the end of the legal retention obligation (6 years after the end of the calendar year in which the contractual or membership relationship was terminated), unless we are obliged to store it for a longer period of time due to tax and commercial law storage and documentation obligations (from HGB, StGB or AO) or you have consented to further storage in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 a DSGVO.

Collection and storage of personal data of member companies as well as type and purpose and their use

When you join our association as a member or arrange services, we collect the following information:

  • Company / Institution
  • Title, first name, surname
  • a valid e-mail address
  • Address
  • Telephone number (landline and/or mobile)
  • Information which is necessary for the exercise of your membership rights within the framework of the law on associations and the respective service contract

This data is collected:

  • to identify you as our member
  • to be able to advise and represent you appropriately
  • to correspond with you
    for invoicing
  • to settle any liability claims that may exist and to assert any claims against you.

The data will be processed upon your request and is required for the purposes mentioned in Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. b DSGVO for the appropriate processing and for the mutual fulfilment of obligations arising from the service contract or your membership.

The personal data we collected for order processing or the membership relationship will be stored until the end of the legal retention obligation (6 years after the end of the calendar year in which the contractual or membership relationship was terminated) and deleted thereafter, unless we have been informed, in accordance with Article 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. c DSGVO due to tax and commercial storage and documentation obligations (from HGB, StGB or AO), that we are obligated to store it longer or you have consented to an additional storage according to Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. a DSGVO.

Your personal data will not be transmitted to third parties for purposes other than those listed below.

As far as this is necessary according to Art. 6 Par. 1 S. 1 lit. b DSGVO for the processing of order relationships with you, your personal data will be passed on to third parties. In particular, this includes passing it on to opposing parties and their representatives (in particular their lawyers) as well as courts and other public authorities for the purpose of correspondence and for asserting and defending your rights. The data passed on may be used by the third party exclusively for the purposes mentioned. As far as data is concerned, which is subject to, for e.g. attorney-client privilege, third-party sharing only takes place after consulting you.

If you send us enquiries using the contact form, we collect the following information:

  • a valid e-mail address
  • if necessary, further information necessary for the respective service contract

This data is collected:

  • to identify you as an interested party
  • to correspond with you
  • in case of follow-up questions

The data will be processed upon your request and is required for the purposes mentioned in Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. b DSGVO for the appropriate processing and for the mutual fulfilment of obligations arising from the service contract or your membership.

Data security and SSL encryption

We use the most common SSL (Secure Socket Layer) method in connection with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser. Usually, this is a 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we use 128-bit v3 technology instead. Any of our website pages being transmitted in encrypted form is indicated by the closed display of your browser’s key or lock symbol.

We also use the suitable technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or unauthorised access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously being improved upon in line with technological developments.

Rights concerned

You have the right:

  • in accordance with Art. 7 para. 3 DSGVO, to revoke the consent you provided us with at any time. As a result, we will no longer be allowed to continue processing data based on this consent in the future
  • to request information about your personal data we process in accordance with Art. 15 DSGVO. In particular, you may request information about the purposes of processing, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data have been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, deletion, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right of appeal, the origin of your data, if we have not been collected these, and the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and, if applicable, meaningful information on their details
  • in accordance with Art. 16 DSGVO, to demand immediate correction of incorrect or incomplete personal data stored by us
  • to request the deletion of your personal data stored with us in accordance with Art. 17 DSGVO, unless the processing is necessary to exercise the right to freedom of expression and information, to fulfil a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or to assert, exercise or defend legal claims
  • in accordance with Art. 18 DSGVO, to restrict the processing of your personal data if you dispute the accuracy of the data, if the processing is unlawful but you refuse to delete the data and we no longer need the data, but if you need it to assert, exercise or defend legal claims or if you have filed an objection to the processing in accordance with Art. 21 DSGVO
  • to receive your personal data, which you have provided to us, in a structured, current and machine-readable format or to request the transmission to another person responsible in accordance with Art. 20 DSGVO and
    to complain to a supervisory authority pursuant to Art. 77 DSGVO. As a rule, you can contact the supervisory authority of your usual place of residence or workplace or our association headquarters.
Right of objection

If your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f DSGVO, you have the right to object to it being processed pursuant to Art. 21 DSGVO, insofar as there are reasons for this arising from your particular situation.

Contradiction advertising mails

We herewith object to the use of contact data published within the scope of the imprint obligation for unsolicited advertising and information material.
