Green Week 2008

green weekbanner low energy houses-1Green Week is the biggest annual conference devoted to European environmental policy. The focus of this year’s Green Week is sustainable use of resources. Under the slogan ‘Only One Earth – don’t waste it,’ the four-day forum brings together policy-makers and experts from the scientific, business and NGO communities in Europe and beyond to debate key sustainability issues.

The European Autoclaved Aerated Concrete Association, representing manufacturers of AAC, a very sustainable construction product with excellent thermal properties, used this opportunity to share its 20-year experience on resource and energy efficient building solutions with a larger audience. Throughout the week, EAACA presented sustainable building solutions at an exhibition stand in the Commission’s Charlemagne building in Brussels.
